Katherine is a medieval historian, archaeologist, writer, and photographer based in the UK. Originally from the east coast of the United States, she moved to Edinburgh for her Master’s in Book History and Material Culture from the University of Edinburgh and has been bouncing between continents ever since. Following the completion of her doctorate Durham University, she is currently exploring new dimensions of her research at the University of Aberdeen pursing an MSc in Bioarchaeological Sciences. In her spare time, she can be found up a mountain taking a photo, singing until someone tells her to stop, searching for dogs to adopt, and drinking wine outside.
